Famed the world over as an historic seat of learning, Oxford, the 'City of Dreaming Spires' has so much to offer to the visitor. Not only the University and its colleges but also a wealth of museums, art galleries, theatres, parks & gardens, restaurants, shopping and much much more.

River walkers can also enjoy a 'swift refresher' overlooking the Isis (and its numerous resident waterfowl) from the Head of the River's picturesque beer garden at Folly Bridge.
Also at Folly Bridge, the more adventurous can try out the time-honoured tradition of punting, or explore Oxford from the water with a relaxing river cruise instead. Alternatively, land lubbers can join the Oxford City Sightseeing Tour whose open-topped buses stop in nearby Speedwell Street.
Those in need of a little retail therapy can shop 'til they drop in the city centre with big names as well as unique little gems such as the Lewis Carroll inspired, Alice's Shop and Oxford's historic Covered Market - which first opened for business in 1774.
In the evening, visitors might like to catch the latest production in one of Oxford's popular theatres or a enjoy a three course meal in a city centre restaurant, before returning to The Falcon for a well-earned rest.
